I am currently a second-year master’s student from the Institute of Intelligent Vehicles, Clean Energy Automotive Engineering Center, School of Automotive Studies, Tongji University, Shanghai, China. I am very fortunate to be co-advised by Distinguished Professor Hong Chen and Research Professor Lulu Guo. I received the B.S. degree in industrial design (vehicle body engineering) from the College of Automotive Engineering, Jilin University, Changchun, China, in 2022.
In the golden haze of my boyhood at my mother’s knee, my grandfather would lead me to the construction sites, unveiling the spectacle of excavators – my inaugural immersion into the intricate world of engineering vehicles and mechanical electronic systems. Growing up in a small mountainous county in central China during the early 2000s, where the arteries of the county town bore only sparse traffic, the “seed” of passion within my young heart began to sprout. I endeavored to etch the emblems of vehicles into the canvas of my memory through the whimsical cadence of nursery rhymes.
Simultaneously, my fascination with the realm of energy burgeoned, spanning from the external intricacies of vehicle design, including aerodynamics and external body aesthetics, to the internal sanctuaries of energy-efficient autonomous driving algorithm controls. I ardently believe that the most potent energy-efficiency solutions reside at the confluence of diverse disciplines rather than within a singular domain.
Eagerly anticipating the opportunity to embark on impactful research, my focus is on the reduction of energy consumption in future connected and automated vehicles. My current research interests include multi-vehicle cooperative control, intelligent transportation systems, and autonomous vehicles.
I am actively seeking a Ph.D. position in the related field with an expected enrollment in the autumn of 2025.

A Scenario Complexity Model Construction Method Based on Autonomous Driving

- This invention pertains to a method for constructing a scenario complexity model based on autonomous driving, comprising the following steps: determining complexity weight factors in autonomous driving tasks; establishing a complexity model for autonomous driving tasks based on the complexity weight factors; building a scenario complexity model based on the autonomous driving task complexity model. The autonomous driving tasks encompass localization tasks, perception tasks, and control tasks. In contrast to existing technology, this invention takes into consideration the complexity and weight factors of various factors involved in dynamic driving tasks: localization, perception, and control. It constructs a scenario complexity model with a neural network-like structure. This model can provide a theoretical foundation and scientific basis for autonomous vehicle testing and evaluation, industry standards, and the formulation of relevant legal regulations.

- Predictive Cruise Control (PCC) for Commercial Vehicles.
- I conducted simulation testing and real vehicle tuning at the Electronic Control Department of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Technology Center in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The tasks included ensuring consistency between embedded control algorithms and Simulink control algorithms, optimizing existing embedded control algorithms, and performing SIL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) tests, followed by results comparison.
- Familiar with the use of TRACE, Vehicle Spy, and other hardware simulation tool chains, and carry out the “Wuhan - Xiaogan” freeway segment of real-vehicle MPC road test.

- The JLU Conception-Eco Racing Team aims to design and develop cars with better fuel economy, with the goal of making a liter of fuel go further. As the team leader of the vehicle body group, my responsibility is to lead the research and development of the vehicle body and chassis. Through our team’s efforts, we have won numerous national championships.
- Design and process the frame & body of the Prototype in the 2019 season: Raindrop-type lightweight body, Drag coefficient is reduced to 0.1Cd, Line optimization painting makes it more streamlined, Anti-roll frame improves safety, Optimize the body layering, Improve the rigidity, Reducing weight. Won the runner-up in the fuel group of the Shell ECO-Marathon (SEM) (1043.08km/L) and the Honda China Energy Conservation Competition (687.8km/L), Excellent Team Award in EV Group.
- Model the frame & body of the Urban Concept Car (UC) in the 2020 season: Design the body of the first UC in the team’s history, Analyze wind resistance and external flow field, Complete the ergonomics design, Solve the driver’s escape and vision to ensure the passive safety. Won the third runner-up of the SEM Online Race and the only UC Design Award in the field.
